A close-up look into the Leatherman Wave Plus Black:

All locking features mean that every tool and knife on the body of the handle, with the exception of the plier's head, will lock into place.

Furthermore, all locking design enables the user to operate individual tools safely and effectively.

Every feature on this tool can be opened and operated with one hand, therefore, this enables the user to keep the other hand free for situations that require multi-tasking or a free hand.

The flat-blade knife, serrated knife, saw, and combination diamond and metal/wood file can be accessed from the outside of the tool.

Meanwhile, the remaining tools are accessed by fully opening the Wave+, with an easy-to-press release button when you are done.

The Wave+ includes the standard arrangement of needle nose and regular pliers, there is also a wire crimper just below the hinge of the pliers handles.

One of the big differences to the original Leatherman wave is the replaceable hard and soft wire cutter blades.

The two knife blades and woodcutting saw are made from 420HC Stainless Steel, one flat knife blade and the other is serrated and all three will open one-handed and lock safely into place. The dual file has one standard wood/metal file and a diamond-coated file for sharpening chisels and blades on the go.
